Thankful Turkey

Happy November, Friends!

I love this time of year so much. The leaves have fallen, the air feels crisp, and there is an extra bout of gratitude amongst us all!

This THANKFUL TURKEY activity is the perfect way to start the day with your little one!

I started this tradition last year with Georgie, and it's even more fun now (as he is 3 1/2 and is fully talking and expressing himself!)

We have our "Thankful Turkey" hanging up on the pantry door in the kitchen, along with a pocket of feathers.

Over breakfast, I ask him- "what makes you feel happy? What are you grateful for?"

After an earful of toddler babble, I'll extract his answer, and write it down on a feather to add to our turkey!

I share with him some of the things I feel grateful for too!

It's a special way to start the day!

You can design your own Thankful Turkey, or here is the one we are using this year!

   Enjoy!!

Be sure to let me know what you and your little one is thankful for!!!

XOXO,

Miss Jolie
