"Jolie Della Valle is a masterful author-singer who specializes in programs for children in the younger age range. This age range can be tricky, but Della Valle had a masterful control of the room. We had 30 children ranging from babies to 5 year-olds, but she had them enrapt with her mix of singing, dancing, and reading from her book Georgie and the Ants in the Pants(which the kids loved!). Her songs, as performed on her ukulele, were woven into readings from her book, so she also managed to get the little ones to associate reading with joy and dance.
